Welcome to the online home for research related to frontal polymerization from the Autonomous Materials Systems group! We are an interdisciplinary research group within the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Frontal polymerization (FP) is a technique for rapid and energy-efficient manufacturing (curing) of materials. On this website, you can learn more about the science of FP. You can also learn about some of the applications of FP in 3D printing,  patterning, and composites.
